Reviews about Dr Michael Creech
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪So busy stating "I don't see a dime out of this" totally missed the problem. There is a 3' x 5' poster in his office for Ossur Custom One Knee braces, this is his "go to", so he writes a prescription for a brace that 1)off-loads but 2) "DOES NOTHING TO ADDRESS INSTABILITY" and 3) only cost 1600 and change and 4) IS NOT COVERED BY ANYONE BECAUSE IT IS A "OFF THE SHELF BRACE". SO for my time HE GOT PAID, I got a prescription for a brace that even covered, I wouldn't use. I was fast tracked thru the Near north joint assessment at the North bay hospital. But by the time they got my MRI and an appointment I re-habbed my knee using an elliptical and turmeric and pepper. So by the time I got to see him, some four weeks later, he treated an MRI rather than the patient. I will advise on this, for a custom brace to be custom, must be made by a Gov. approved shop. They cannot make a off-loading stabilizing brace (or so I have been told) and again no-one will cover an off the shelf brace, so if you are going to pay 1600 and change go a little further and go bauerfeind softec...I didn't, I went with "bauerfeind genutrain S" cause as long as I can remain stable I can keep the muscle "fit enough" to off-load my medial part of my knee. 95% of those off loader brace are "drawer queens" within 6 months, I am still using my BF "genutrain S" daily.by Paul PenasseApril 17, 2017
